Join us with a warm welcome to Dr. Foster!

Veterinary Ophthalmology Services is beyond excited to announce the addition of Dr. Tania Foster. Beginning September 2024, Dr. Foster will be joining the team at VOS Chattanooga. Dr. Foster has completed extensive training across the country, first receiving her doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to complete a small animal medicine and surgery internship in New Mexico, followed by a fellowship at the Comparative Ocular Pathology Lab of Wisconsin, a specialty ophthalmology internship in South Florida and an ophthalmic residency at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include preservation and restoration of vision through corneal and cataract microsurgical techniques, and the alleviation of chronic pain associated with ocular disease. Born in South Africa, Dr. Foster was raised in the Tri-Cities area of East Tennessee, and along with her husband, Will, an alumnus of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, is excited to return to her eastern Tennessee roots.

We at VOS would like to thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to providing full time services at our Gunbarrel Road location this Fall. Dr. Amity Huskey will continue to provide interim services, and as always, our staff is available by phone or email. We are honored to assist in the care of your patients in any way possible.

Sincerely,

The doctors and staff of Veterinary Ophthalmology Services
